ROOTS
RGS-J gas sealed rotary positive
blowers are supplied with positive
pressure-lubrication. These
heavy-duty units are designed for
continuous service, featuring the
proprietary ROOTS exclusive
wrap-around plenum and WHISPAIRTM
jet to eliminate rapid backflow of
air into the blower from the
discharge area. This design
reduces noise, pulsation, and
horsepower levels over
conventional blowers.
RGS-J series units use
self-adjusting face type
mechanical seals at each bearing
to control gas leakage.
Pressure-lubrication is
accomplished through a positive
pressure lubrication system that
supply oil to bearings and gears.
The pressure lubrication system
completely mounted and piped on
the blower unit.
These units offer single stage
vacuums to 18" Hg, pressures
to 18 PSI with flows from 1000 to
over 40,000 cfm.
