PTD Plug
Type Diverter
The PTD plug type diverters have been specially designed to
route powders and pellets in pneumatic conveying systems. The PTD
plug type diverter will be applied in the chemical, pharmaceutical,
plastic, food and other related industries. A smooth passage of
products is guaranteed by a good sealing and a complete free
passage. |

The PTD
plug type diverter consists of a aluminum housing and end covers in
which a plug with two pipes is installed. All product contact
surfaces are made from stainless steel AISI 316L/DIN 1.4404.
A polyurethane seal (FDA approved) guarantees the sealing between
housing and plug. The standard plug can be used in systems with
positive pressures up to 3 Bar g*. |
The design enables fast internal
examination, cleaning or replacement
of seals.
The PTD will be supplied with a
complete electro pneumatic control
system. By integrating the drive into
the housing we designed a unit with no
moving parts on the outside.
By means of installing reed contacts
on the cylinder drive or, if required
inductive sensors, the position of the
plug can be checked.
The plug type diverter can be used at
product temperatures of -25 °C up to
+120 °C while having an environmental
temperature of -10 °C up to +40 °C and
is available in 6 different pipe
sizes: Ø 50, 65, 80,100,125 and 150
mm. |
