FDV Flap
Type Diverter
The DMN- WESTINGHOUSE flap type diverters have been designed to
re-route powders and pellets in pneumatic conveying systems.
|
The FDV is available in two
versions: the FDV f type with flange fittings and the FDV
p type with pipe fittings. Both versions are available in
aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel, in the ranges 50-250 for
the FDV f and in the ranges 50-150 for the FDV p.
For the operation of the FDV there are 2 standard systems: a
pneumatic cylinder assembly and a pneumatic actuator assembly.

Product information
The parabolic style blade of the diverter is fitted with either
polyurethane or food quality seals, providing a virtually leak proof
unit.
The FDV diverter can be used in systems with positive pressures up
to 2 Bar g. and negative pressures of 300 mBar g.
The standard polyurethane flap can be used at a temperature up to 80
°C. Options for higher temperatures are available on request. |
